MDInform app for iPhone and iPad

Welcome to the ultimate personal and portable medical assistant! MDinform is the only App of its kind that allows you to collect, trend, and send data to your healthcare professional from anywhere, at any time.***

This App establishes a unique link between you and your doctor or practitioner, allowing you to automatically upload medical information from your portable device. All of your data is recorded and time/date stamped, and can be visually trended over various time intervals to check your progress. Warnings can be generated if your data enters a range of concern to your health care professional. In addition to using the App on your portable device, you will be able to access your information through the web site at www.mdinform.com once registered with your health provider.

Almost anyone can use features of MDInform! For example:

- If you wish to track your weight over time, MDInform will record your weight in pounds (lbs) or kilograms (kg), calculate your BMI (Body Mass Index), and graphically trend it for you.

- If you are a diabetic and wish to follow your glucose levels, or you are under care for high blood pressure, your information can be recorded easily and trended. Plus, your information is available to your doctor and when your levels are out of range, your doctor will be alerted.

- If you are undergoing surgery, you can record your temperature, pain levels, nausea symptoms, and drain output all with MDInform. When your drain output declines to specific levels set by your doctor, he/she will automatically be notified so that an appointment can be scheduled for drain removal. If you are planning surgery in the future, you can assist your doctor by completing a risk assessment for DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis) in advance.

- If you suffer from migraines and wish to keep a journal so that you can better control your symptoms, this App is better than any migraine journal! Not only will your symptoms and treatments be automatically tracked, but also you can check the trends over time and upload the information to your health provider.

- Finally, this App has a photo image module that allows you to upload images from your smartphone, tablet or mobile device to your doctor for review. This can save time and possibly alleviate extra office visits, and allows your doctor to keep up with your progress.

Please be sure to check with him/her first before purchasing the App. Your functionality is activated by a unique barcode that you can receive from your doctor/provider in printed form or via email. If you were referred here by your health provider, it is most likely that they are enrolled, and you may already have the necessary bar code to establish the link.
